John Jin Hong Liu had studied at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, Shanghai University of Chinese Medicine, Zhejiang University of Chinese Medicine, and received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Doctoral Degree in Chinese Medicine (Oncology), and has been engaged in medical treatment, teaching and scientific research for many years in Xinghua Hospital of Chinese Medicine and Zhejiang University of Chinese Medicine, and is now the President of the John & Jenny Traditional Chinese Medicine College in Canada, Professor, and the President of John & Jenny Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic Centre, and the Director of the Oncology Center. Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and acupuncturist in Ontario, Canada. Founder of Targeted Chinese Medicine and Jingfang Acupuncture. Guest professor of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, president of the Canadian branch of International Jingfang College, overseas doctoral supervisor, council member of Canadian Cancer Support Association, vice-chairman and Ontario president of Alliance of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine of Canada, expert of the WFCMS’s International Center for Clinical Research Cooperation.
Since 1988, he has been engaged in the clinical work of Chinese medicine, using the combination of acupuncture and herbal medicine to treat various pain, paralysis and autoimmune diseases, and using the unique classical formula combines with acupuncture target therapy to treat cancer and internal medicine and gynaecological diseases, with remarkable clinical effects, it is widely praised by patients, and is one of the TCM practitioners with significant influence in North America. John dedicates to the global promotion of Traditional Chinese medicine culture and “Targeted diagnosis and treatment of tumour using acupuncture and classical formula” as the characteristics of practical medical technology, is well respected by peers of TCM scholars.
He has won many provincial and departmental awards for scientific and technological progress and teaching achievements, and the project of “TCM Targeted Therapy Research” was funded by the National Natural Scientific Foundation of China and the Zhejiang Provincial Medicine and Health Care Excellence Fund. He has authored three parts of “John & Jenny Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Combined Clinical Essentials”, participated in the preparation of more than 10 professional works, and published more than 70 papers in China and foreign professional journals.

刘金洪医生先后求学于南京中医药大学、上海中医药大学、浙江中医药大学，获得针灸学学士、硕士学位和中医内科（肿瘤）学博士学位，在兴化市中医院和浙江中医药大学从事医疗、教学、科研工作多年，现为加拿大约翰·珍妮中医学院院长、教授，约翰·珍妮中医院院长、肿瘤中心主任，安大略省注册中医师、针灸师，靶向中医学与经方针灸学创始人，南京中医药大学客座教授、国际经方学院加拿大分院院长、海外博士生导师，加拿大癌症支持协会理事，加拿大中医针灸联盟副主席、安省主席，世界中医联合会国际临床研究合作中心专家。
自1988年起从事中医临床工作，采用针药结合治疗各种痛症、瘫痪及自体免疫性疾病，采用独具特色的经方针灸靶向治疗方法治疗癌症及内科、妇科疾病，临床效果显著，受到患者普遍赞誉，是北美地区具有重要影响力的中医医生之一。致力于在全球推广中医药文化和以“肿瘤经方针灸靶向诊治”为特色的实用医疗技术，是深受同行尊重的中医学者。
曾多次获得省、厅级科技进步和教学成果奖，主持完成的《中医药靶向治疗研究》项目获中国国家科学基金和浙江省医药卫生优秀人才基金的资助。主编《约翰·珍妮针药结合临证精要》三部，参与编写专业著作10余部，在国内外专业期刊公开发表论文70余篇。
