Dr. Michael Chung, a registered Dr. TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) in British Columbia, Canada, graduated from Taipei Medical University and obtained his master’s and doctoral degrees from Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He began his apprenticeship under the guidance of Dr. Wei-Chieh Young in 1990 and was formally accepted as a disciple in 1991. Over the past three decades, he has traveled extensively with his mentor, lecturing and serving as a translator, dedicated to the transmission and teaching of traditional Chinese medicine. His teaching endeavours have taken him to Taiwan, Malaysia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, and Canada. In recent years, he has been invited to serve as a visiting professor in doctoral programs at various Traditional Chinese Medicine colleges in California, Oregon, New York, Minnesota, and other states, lecturing on Tung’s Extraordinary Acupuncture.
Since 2012, Dr. Chung has served as the founder and convener of the Canadian Tzu Chi International Medical Association. In 2018, he collaborated with Humber College in Toronto to assist in establishing the first publicly funded TCM program in Canada. He currently serves as the managing director of the “Tzu Chi Clinic of TCM” which is dedicated in the clinical training and research of TCM, continuing his efforts to promote clinical teaching and research in Traditional Chinese Medicine in North America.

Dermatological conditions (eczema/atopic dermatitis/psoriasis)
Male and female infertility
Sports injuries and pain
鍾政哲醫師(Dr. Michael Chung)，加拿大BC省的註冊高級中醫師，畢業於台北醫藥大學，並於天津中醫藥大學完成碩士與博士學位。1990年開始跟隨楊維傑老師學習，1991年收為入門弟子。三十多年來他隨師四處講學並擔任翻譯，致力於傳承，教學的足跡已遍佈台灣、馬來西亞、美國，英國、德國、澳大利亞和加拿大等地。近年亦受邀至美國加州，俄勒岡州，紐約州，明尼蘇達州等多所中醫學院擔任博士班客座教授，講授董氏奇穴。
自2012年起擔任加拿大慈濟國際人醫會創始人及召集人，2018年與多倫多漢博大學合作，協助設立了加拿大第一所公立學校的中醫學程，並擔任「加拿大慈濟中醫門診與教學中心」院長至今。持續致力於北美中醫臨床教學與研究之推廣。
