The concept and clinical significance of "nodular pain syndrome"

This presentation focuses on the concept and clinical value of "nodular pain syndrome," systematically elucidating the essential mechanism of soft tissue pain based on the theory and practice of the mini-blade needle superficial needling technique for releasing nodules. Research suggests that nodular pain syndrome originates from the combined effects of scar adhesions and fascial trigger points following soft tissue injury, leading to a series of symptoms such as abnormal local tension, nerve entrapment, and referred pain, constituting a crucial pathological basis for chronic pain. This concept integrates the theories of abnormal tension, adhesion scars, and fascial trigger points, providing clinically palpable, diagnosable, and treatable objective targets. Based on this, the superficial needling technique for releasing nodules and adhesions through minimally invasive methods can rapidly relieve pain and restore function, demonstrating its advantages of precision, safety, and high efficiency. This study emphasizes that the shift from "symptom-based treatment" to "lesion-targeted therapy" is of great significance for improving the diagnosis and treatment of chronic pain.
