Stecco Carla, born the 16th of September 1977 in Arzignano. Medical degree cum laude in 2002 at the Padua University. Specialization cum laude in Orthopaedic surgery at the Padua University in January 2008. From 2007 (1st of October) to 2014 she has a position of Assistant Professor M-EDF/02 (Theory and Didactic of Motor Activity and Sport) at the University of Padova, Department of Human Anatomy and Physiology. Professor of Human Anatomy at the University of Padova from 2014. From June 2022 qualification to full professor of Anatomy. Founder Member of the Fascial Manipulation Association and of the Fascial Research Society. Member of the Italian Society of Anatomy and Histology and of the European Association of Clinical Anatomy. The scientific activity is devoted to the study of the anatomy of the human fasciae from a macroscopic, histologic and pathologic point of view. From 2000 she organizes and personally holds theoretical-practical courses about fascial anatomy and Fascial Manipulation technique both in Italy and around the world. Author of more than 220 in extenso papers about the fascial anatomy and physiology. Author of various books about the Fascial Manipulation (Piccin ed), translated in 11 languages, and of the first photographic atlas about the human fasciae (2015, Elsevier ed.).
