Jeff Moggach is an Associate Professor of massage therapy studies in the Department of Allied Health and Human Performance at MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Jeff has held a tenured position at MacEwan University since 2007 and has been a massage therapy clinician since 1998, working in multidisciplinary settings. He is a senior member of Massage Therapy Association of Alberta.
With over 20 years of experience as an educator and massage therapist, Jeff is committed to ensuring that students of the MacEwan Massage Therapy program receive high-quality education. Jeff instructs both introductory and advanced courses using a blend of research-based knowledge and personal experiences to provide practical, clinical-based education. Jeff maintains current in his profession by attending research conferences and continuing education seminars. Having completed a Master of Arts in 2012 with a focus on technology-mediated adult learning,
Jeff is also committed to growing professionally as an instructor. Jeff brings his interested in learning technology to supplement his teaching, using various technology-based methodologies to enhance learning. Jeff’s research interests include effects of massage therapy treatment on various pathological conditions as well as teaching with technology.
